Crissy Parrish PT, MPT (she/her)
Certified Functional Manual Therapist
Movement Disorders Fellow 2020
My name is Crissy Parrish and I am blessed to be a part of the team here at Re+Active Physical Therapy and Wellness. I love to learn and have the honor of being the 2020 Schmidt Movement Disorders Fellow. I received a masters in physical therapy from Azusa Pacific University and completed a post professional neurological residency in proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) at Kaiser Vallejo where my love for working with patients with neurological conditions began. I also completed a post professional orthopedic residency through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA), followed by certification as a functional manual therapist (CFMT) through the same organization. I am a Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!) certified therapist. I have worked in a variety of settings over the years including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehab, and acute care. I consider it a privilege to work with people to help them reach their full potential regardless of what kind of challenges they are facing or what diagnosis they come into the clinic with. I find great joy in helping to facilitate my client’s ability to return to activities that they love to do with greater ease and less pain. When I am not in the clinic, you can find me out enjoying the great outdoors and spending time with family, or sitting quietly reading a book while eating some dark chocolate. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to reach your goals!
