Dr. Lolly Starr-Glass, Psy.D (she/her/hers)
I am a licensed clinical psychologist (CA 32275, TX 39507 & PSYPACT 1095) with an expertise in pediatric psychology. Over the course of my training, I have staffed numerous medical clinics (e.g., integrated primary care, pulmonology, nephrology, neurology, solid organ transplant, gastroenterology, oncology, and hematology), working with diverse kids, tweens, and teens who are navigating health concerns. I am super excited to be part of a team that is passionate about providing research-backed, high-quality care to individuals with medical and neurological conditions.
I tailor evidence-based interventions to fit your unique context, factoring in your child’s developmental stage, availability of resources, family dynamics, and so on. I aim to bolster healthy coping and provide your child with the tools they need to move courageously through life (and to meet the goals that they set for themselves!). I address a variety of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjusting to a new diagnosis, and coping with chronic health issues. I almost always collaborate closely with parents and/or caregivers because I find that when we partner up in this way we make the most sustainable progress.
I received my doctorate from the PGSP-Stanford Consortium. I completed my doctoral internship at Mailman Center of Child Development/University of Miami School of Medicine followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. From these experiences, I understand the unique challenges you may face and also honor that you are the best expert in you. I hope to create space where you feel understood, seen, heard, and important.
Outside of my office hours, you can find me binging sci-fi/fantasy tv shows, spending time in nature, taking on way too big DIY projects, creating a zero waste homestead for my sweet family, and fantasizing about my next scuba diving adventure.
