Clinical Social Worker

(She/Her)

Hi! My name is Maia, and I’m a clinical social worker at re+active. I’m so glad you’re here, and I’d be honored to support you on your journey toward greater wellness, balance, and emotional understanding.

I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology and writing in 2020 and my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2022 from Washington University in St. Louis. As a therapist, I aim to create a space where clients feel truly believed, supported, and empowered to reconnect with and trust themselves. I believe you are the expert on your own life and body, and my role is to walk alongside you as we explore what feels most meaningful and helpful for you.

Therapy is (unfortunately) not a quick fix—it can be daunting and, at times, exhausting. Still, it can also be deeply meaningful. In our work together, you can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where all parts of you are welcome. I hold space for difficult emotions with care and respect, while also celebrating your growth, progress, and small wins along the way. Therapy is a place to come exactly as you are, explore what matters most, and grow more fully into your authentic self.

While I take my work seriously, I believe humor, warmth, and laughter are important parts of the therapeutic process. I consider myself a very silly person, and I use that playfulness to build connection and make room for joy alongside grief, uncertainty, and change. Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me creating art, listening to music, snuggling with my cat, or reading a good book while surrounded by nature.
