Hi! I am Emily, and I am so excited to be apart of the re+active team! As a physical therapist, I am humbled to serve individuals with neurologic diagnoses with a mission to help people restore hope, take control, and live life joyfully! My passion is to help people discover their full potential through an approach that includes intensive exercise sprinkled with carefree fun and laughter. I've got a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Evansville, Indiana and am a Neuro Residency Graduate of the USC and Rancho Los Amigos Neurologic Residency Program. I have also received the distinction of being a Neurologic Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapists. I am a PWR! certified and Balance-Wear certified therapist and was appointed to serve on the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy's Telehealth Task Force. I truly love what I do and am passionate about all things neuro! When I am out of office and/or decide to turn off my learning brain, you will find me doing one of a few things: 1) trying out various local food spots 2) on the couch (or more likely rapidly pacing across the room) watching the Green Bay Packers or 3) getting active through various hobbies such as running, hiking, cycling, lifting weights, and boxing! I find so much joy in travel and hope to keep doing more of it, whether that be traveling to new countries or traveling back home to Leawood, Kansas to spend time with family. I cannot wait to meet you, and I look forward to joining your recovery team!
