Andrea Flores (she/her)

Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT

Hello there! I took my first yoga class about 20 years ago during a study abroad program in Spain. That planted the seed to my personal journey with incorporating yoga into my life. Because yoga therapy has helped me with my own healing, I love sharing all of these tools with anyone who is willing to use them to improve the quality of their life. Through movement, breath, and meditation specifically designed for therapeutic needs, I remind others who suffer from chronic conditions and pain how to manage symptoms to bring more acceptance and empowerment into their lives.

I’ve completed a clinical yoga therapy program through Loyola Marymount University that was inspired and trained in the tradition of T.K.V. Desikachar and am a certified yoga therapist through International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). I have also completed training in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, a vinyasa-based Yoga Teacher Training through Yogaworks, and a foundation course program in Ayurveda. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies.

I am a Southern California native who grew up in small city in San Bernardino County. I love learning and experiencing other cultures, which is why I enjoy traveling so much! When I am not traveling and yoga-ing (actually I always make room for yoga!) I enjoy reading, beach time and studying flamenco dance.
